Peachtree Road Farmers Market
Peachtree Road Farmers Market is probably one of the oldest and most well-known farmers market in all of Atlanta. In fact, they are celebrating 10 wonderful years of serving our community. The market offers only locally produced items and is a favorite of people from all around Atlanta. If you’re lucky, you may be able to catch one of the weekly cooking demos from a local chef on how to prepare delicious sustainably grown food. The market is open Saturdays and Wednesday evenings April through December.
East Atlanta Village Farmers Market
The best of fresh produce and local artisan goods come together at this charming little market on the east side of Atlanta. It’s open on Thursdays only from March through November from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Piedmont Green Market
This open-air farmers market is held in Piedmont Park every Saturday from March to December. It provides the best regionally grown fruits and vegetables, farm-fresh meats, handmade cheeses, delicious baked goods, and fresh-cut flowers. The Piedmont Green Market is also a great source of entertainment with chef demos, fun kids programs, and live music from talented local musicians.
Morningside Farmers Market
Morningside Farmers Market awakens your senses with the smell of fresh-cut flowers, the taste of locally grown berries, and the beautiful sites of locally made crafts. It offers the best of anything fresh and flavorful. We suggest you call ahead of time for hours and location.
Decatur Farmers’ Market
Don’t miss out on all the homemade sauces, sweet preserves and locally made crunchy pickles at Decatur Farmer’s Market. The freshly picked produce and flowers, along with the homemade bread and cage-free dairy goods, are amazing and available every Saturday year-round.
Serenbe Farmers and Artists Market
This small and intimate farmers market is open on Saturdays only during the months of May to October. It’s located at the Inn at Serenbe, on some of the most lovely grounds in the city. Don’t forget to take your camera as well as your appetite.
Grant Park Farmers Market
Heading out to the zoo? Why not also stop at the Grant Park Farmers Market located right outside of the zoo. The market is open on Sundays from April through December.
